ABOUT GREAVES FUNERAL
Although Greaves Funeral Services has been operating since 2016, since opening our doors in July 2019, as a company, Greaves Funeral Services has grown, and has gained a reputation for providing a personable and good service.
The reputation gained, is down to our dedication and good customer focused service. We are proud to operate as an independent family run business. Greaves Funeral Services has earned a positive reputation. This is based on the feedback we receive from our clients, their family, and friends. This is also based on the repeat return business from several members of the same family.
At Greaves we go out of our way to provide a truly genuine service to each of our clients. We understand that your needs can change at any time, and we are always ready to adapt to your request, without any change to the service we give to you. As a company, we offer a bespoke funeral service to all our clients. We do our best to ensure we meet all our clients wishes.
We provide a friendly and comfortable surrounding for our clients when they visit us to conduct business at such a difficult time.
We are open Monday – Friday 9.00am until 5.00pm. We are closed on Saturday and Sunday. However, special arrangements are made.
ABOUT OUR FUNERAL DIRECTOR
Born in the United Kingdom, as a baby Ian returned to his parent’s homeland of Barbados until the age of 17 years old where he came back to London to access further education.
Ian Greaves trained and is a qualified Chef. This led to him catering to many high-profile attendees at various events. To broaden his knowledge, he decided to train in another field, and is also a qualified Gas Engineer.
As the years passed, Ian wanted to be challenged further. After being approached by another Funeral Director during their busy period to assist them, Ian was introduced to funeral duties, which he found he enjoyed. This experience meant Ian worked less and less in both of his initial careers.
Following working within the funeral profession for more than 25 years with various Funeral Directors, Greaves Funeral Services was founded by Ian Greaves in 2016.
Ian believes that his business cannot provide the outstanding service without the hardworking and dedicated attitude of the people who work within his team.
A Funeral Director is a serious job. However, our Funeral Director is known well for his jovial personality. Ian always performs his duties seriously and professionally.
Our clients have reported, and reviewed Ian’s presentation helps them to relax at a stressful time in their lives.
